Dr. Cox and Joyce Cox CNP have had a special interest in treating varicose and spider veins for over 10 years. Since 2004, they have been treating large varicosities in the legs with Endovenous Laser Treatment, a procedure that replaces vein stripping, and is done under local anesthesia in the office. The patient literally walks out of the office as soon as the procedure is completed. Other treatments include Microphlebectomies (removal of veins through micro-incisions), and Sclerotherapy (injection of veins with a chemical that closes the veins). Initial treatment for most vein problems includes Support Stockings. |
